Polaroid, the company that gave us the first 60 second film picture, is donating $150,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The fund drive includes pink products that will be sold by a number of manufacturers. All will contribute funds to the foundation, with the looming Mother’s Day holiday just ahead.
The product pictured comes in a variety of megapixel configurations and features quick shot-to-shot speed and anti-shake technology.
The point and shoot camera has come a long way, with respectable megapixel numbers, larger viewing screens, better optics and an array of standard features. This trend has put useful, portable cameras into the hands of average consumers. Polaroid is providing buyers a chance to participate in this good cause.
