Okay…. danger, danger Will Robinson, for those who remember. 

Disney enters the world of toy robots with a new WALL-E toy inspired by the upcoming movie of the same name. WALL-E will be joined by a flying Tinker Bell toy.  Both will be available this Fall. The Ultimate WALL-E will feature 10 motors and a remote control that will allow  kids to program the robot.

The WALL-E robot toy is a collaborative effort between Pixar Animation Studios, Thinkway Toys, WowWee and Disney. WALL-E includes voice activation and has a follow-me mode and can detect when someone enters the room. The Ultimate WALL-E will debut this fall and will be available at Toys-R-US and at Disney’s online shopping web site; Disneyshopping.com

It should not come as any surprise that Disney would introduce some cool robotics to the toy market. It was bound to happen. Remember, we are talking about the pioneers in Audio-Animatronics. Their theme parks are a trip through robot paradise.

The new WALL-E and Tinker Bell robotic toys will be available for the next Christmas shopping season and will surely be at the top of many thousands of kid’s toy lists. At an expected retail price of $189.99, the Ultimate WALL-E will be busting the Christmas budgets of many a placating parent.
