There are a lot of things that technology has brought us in recent years that are truly impressive, but I’d have to say that flat panel monitors and televisions have to take the cake.
Acer, the giant IT firm, has just introduced their new Business and Value Series displays. The new B-series (business) are designed for durability and ergonomics. This new line of LCD monitors comes in six sizes; 17- to 24-inches. The wide screen versions offer adjustments for comfortable viewing including height, tilt, swivel and rotation adjustments.
The B-series also offer dual inputs for VGA analogue and DVI for digital signals. The new monitor also offers contrast ratios that are dynamically adjusted by Acer’s Adaptive Contrast Management technology.
The V-series (value) offers five screen sizes, including three that are wide screen. One feature that is really practical with the V-series is a button on the bottom of the monitor that allows for removing the base from the stand. A great way to lie it flat in a briefcase or suitcase for traveling.
The Value series also offers Acer’s Adaptive Contrast Management. This technology adjusts the image as it is received to achieve the perfect contrast, while enhancing color quality. Both monitors feature Acer’s eDisplay management, which makes common adjustments easier and user-friendly.
Both monitors come with a limited 3-year limited warranty and both are Vista-compatible.
